MW Legal Services Will Writing is owned by Matt Walkden who started the company just over 20 years ago, at that time we operated a different online will writing website but when wills.org.uk became available we bought it knowing that it was going to transform the business. This it has done and we can now boast over 13,000 clients (as at March 2024) who are situated all over the world but have in common ownership of property or assets in either England or Wales (or both).
Professional Will Writing
Matt Walkden is a professional will writer and a Full Member of the Society of Will Writers and when you use the automated online will writing forms, whether it be the single one of the mirror will form, your will is actually written by Matt when the system was designed. MW Legal Services does not employ anyone else so you can be assured of the highest standard of work and the attention of a professional.
Guarantees
The society will writers insist that we have adequate professional indemnity insurance, ours is set at £2.5 million per will written and they also insist that we have a current knowledge of the latest changes to legislation, we do this by attending regional meetings and training courses on a very regular basis. We hope that this gives potential clients great confidence in using this service and if you have any queries feel free to put them to us via the contact us page. We adhere to the Society of Will Writers Code of Practice and their Terms and Conditions of business.
Access to us
There are several ways to access the business and you can use whichever one you prefer and choose the one that most suits your budget as well, they are as follows:
1 – Use our Automated Online Will Writing Forms – this is the cheapest way and there’s a number of forms but the two common ones are found on the website homepage, one is for single people and the other is for couples that wish to make out mirror wills. You complete these forms online and make payment ether by secure card portal provided by Stripe or you can pay by PayPal. Once you’ve paid your wills are immediately emailed to you in a zip file that has your wills in it and signing instructions and instructions on how best to store your will once it’s been signed as it is then a valuable legal document.
2 – If you try using these but decide that you would like a bit more personal input from us then you can call us and we can take your will instructions by telephone call and sort out the details by email, once you’ve approved the draft wills we’ll print them and post them to you with full signing instructions and storage instructions. This service obviously costs a little more and all prices can be found on the pricing page of this website here.
3 – If you live in Dorset then you might prefer a home visit with us, book an appointment that’s convenient to you and us and we’ll come to your home and discuss your particular needs, offer advice where needed and come up with a plan to get the right wills in place for you so that your family and loved ones can rest easy at night.
